Since starting The Recording Connection Audio Institute in 1983, we have placed over 10,000 audio students in actual recording studios throughout the world. By placing our students as apprentices in these studios, The Recording Connection enables them to make vital industry connections as they prepare for careers in audio engineering and music production. Our program is also an excellent resource for musicians and composers who want to learn more about recording as part of perfecting their art.
While The Recording Connection is located in recording studios all over the world, our Corporate Offices are found in Los Angeles, California, in the historic Equitable Building at the famed corner of Hollywood and Vine. We are just steps away from The Capitol Records building and The Pantages Theatre. (Feel free to make an appointment to stop by our office when you and your family are in southern California.)
Our corporate office in Los Angeles is open Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM PST. Please call us at (800) 755-7597 for any assistance you need, or make an appointment and come in.

IF YOU'RE NOT YET AN ENROLLED STUDENT
The mission of the admissions department is to help you reach your educational goals. If you are applying to our program, or following up on a submitted or active application, these are the people you should contact. If you have already spoken with an Admissions Counselor and are waiting to meet your mentor, you would speak with the next department listed.
Please contact this department if an Admissions Counselor has already spoken with you, and you have been approved to meet a mentor.
For newly accepted or current students with questions about books, materials, tuition or other recording school questions, this is the department with the answers.
Contact this department if you have questions about tuition payment, or need financial assistance in exploring loan or financing options. Financial Aid Counselors can only assist you with your tuition needs after you have spoken with your Admissions Counselor. Please speak with an Admissions Counselor before contacting this office.
FOR CURRENTLY ACCEPTED AND ENROLLED STUDENTS
Available only to accepted and enrolled students, this department offers assistance to our students as they work through our program, as well as offering job placement assistance afterward. Please contact the Student Services Department for any questions regarding homework, scheduling, transfers, and any other challenges you might face while you studying with us. The Stay Connected Program, our job assistance program for Recording Connection graduates, is also located in this office.
